Entering our sixth year of providing quality, affordable, and flexible summer school opportunities for all students, we are excited about the growth and success of the program and look forward to this year being better than ever before. As a result, we are proud to announce that we have expanded our program and acquired the St. Patrick Summer School (the day school previously run by Mr. Coddington). You will find we have the same building, same teachers, and the same great offerings of the previous program plus much more under the GSLA umbrella.

Students come from all over New Jersey and beyond because we offer the ideal educational environment and a unique opportunity for students to learn through engaging, rigorous and challenging programs. As you begin the process of looking into summer school opportunities for your children and students, we ask that you will consider our GSLA program and services to meet their summer school needs.  

 

WHY CHOOSE GSLA? At the Garden State Learning Academy, we offer:

We have campuses in Elizabeth and Rahway which makes it more accessible for all students regardless of location.   

 

o       DAY AND EVENING SESSIONS

We offer classes from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm to accommodate students’ scheduling needs.       

 

 o       AFFORDABLE TUITION AND PAYMENT PLAN OPTION

We remain committed to keeping our costs reasonable for all students –  our prices are lower than all other summer programs in the area. Review courses are set at $245 and payment plan options are available.

 

 o       REVIEW, ENRICHMENT, AND ORIGINAL CREDIT COURSES

In addition to review and enrichment courses, we offer the unique opportunity for students to take original credit courses, which may allow them to graduate on schedule.

 

 o       CERTIFIED AND EXPERIENCED TEACHERS/ADMINISTRATION

We have a certified principal on staff and all teachers are required to be certified.

 

 o       CONVENIENT REGISTRATION

Registration is always available and encouraged via the web site or over the phone. In-person, onsite registration will be available at both campuses in June. 

 

o       EFFECTIVE CURRICULUM

 Our academic program works!  All courses at GSLA are framed by the NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards. These effective guidelines help students achieve their educational goals and continue on a path of academic excellence. 

 

 o   TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION  

We fully employ technological resources to streamline communication with guidance counselors, parents and students and improve academic success by supplementing learning with web material.

  

o    OUR STUDENTS COME FROM ALL OVER THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY

GSLA has served students from schools in more than 70 districts including Livingston, West Orange, Willingboro, Oratory Prep, St. Joseph of Metuchen, Governor Livingston, Roselle Catholic, Benedictine Academy, Sayreville War Memorial, Woodbridge and Piscataway. Students have come from as far away as New York, Florida, and North Carolina to attend GSLA for summer school.

Even if your family has already made plans for the summer (including vacations), we can work around your schedule for your child to attend summer school.
