It is therefore the responsibility of the student and parent/guardian to provide a detailed description of all courses to St. Patrick Summer Evening Academy for review prior to registration to ensure that the registered courses meet the hourly requirements and academic requirements required for said course.

Students should seek advice regarding their course selections, hourly and academic course content from their subject teachers and the Guidance Department of their home school. Identified students are advised to consult with their Special Education teachers before making their selections. It is also recommended that students speak with teachers to ensure their selections are appropriate for their learning needs.

Once classes begin in June, students will not have an option to change or reselect a course. Students will have 3 days after classes begin to make necessary course changes. The administrative fee for all course changes is $7.00 and will not vary no matter the circumstance. However students should be aware that changes may not be possible if courses are full or if the timetable is beyond the 3 day course change timetable

If a course is selected in error by the student and/or parent/guardian the fee for course changes will be automatically applied and will also be subject to late fees and penalties. It is hereby stated that St. Patrick Summer Evening Academy will not be held liable or responsible for obtaining academic course content. It is solely the responsibility of the student to select the proper courses with regard to course description, course level, course content or course hourly requirements.
